Common problems
Resolve lookup, upload, and download issues.
The cell was not found
Confirm MCC, MNC, LAC/TAC and cell ID, and specify the correct radio technology. See Coverage and missing cells for unobserved cells, changed identifiers and MVNO or roaming mismatches. Read the response body even when the HTTP status is 200; see Errors.
My API key is rejected
Distinguish an invalid key from an access restriction using the error code. See Access and limits and contact support when permissions need review.
A file upload fails
Check field names, required values and the endpoint's file-size limit. Send the file as datafile and the API key as key, using the multipart example in CSV upload or JSON upload.
Uploaded measurements do not appear immediately
Measurement storage and cell updates are processed separately. See Contributing and the endpoint's processing notes.
The download does not include an older cell
Downloads include towers observed in the last 18 months. The API also provides access to older data. See Download the dataset.
